oh my god!! i am so excited!! my all time favourite fashion icon,Anna Wintour,has finally decided to give us a sneak peak into what happens inside the hallowed hallways of the Vogue Offices in New York City.this is huge.like "lets all just use lace for the season like prada",huge.The documentary is appropriately titled The September Issue.The namesake with the very fashinable punk-rock style maven,Kate Moss on the cover,its already out on stands.In the documentary she is finally going to show us, how she manages to keep her stylish trademark bob unruffled while deciding what the entire fashionable world is going to wear for the next season and not-so-fashionable world is going to wear a season after,due to the tricle down effect into the high street stores.thats basically u and me.and what we buy from topshop,h&m and Zara.Behind those ever present dark glasses lurks perhaps one of the most sharpest and imaginative minds in fashion,who is so ahead of the fashion curve,you could almost say that she etched it herself.

day one?

for those of you who are wondering why the weird numerical URL..well,today 07-08-09 was the day that i finally worked up the courage to start my own blog.this is a first for me.I am an extremely shy,cautious girl/woman.i am not expecting anyone to read this.neither am i expecting anyone to comment on this.I am fairly ordinary in looks,upbringing and political views.i dont feel strongly for anything besides my cup of steaming hot coffee in the morning.I am fiercely protective of my family and my faith is my biggest strength.After 21 yrs of living in this planet,you could say that i am a creationist.and i am proud of it.Besides my cup of coffee, there is one more thing i feel strongly for,actually, and thats Fashion.I worked with a very well respected European luxury brand, Etro in one of the trendiest stores in India and I am going for my masters to London College of Fashion,come fall. After all my love for fashion is an offshoot of being a creatonist.All things were created for the glory of the lord,and nothing proclaims his greatness better than the amazing things created saeson after season by some of the worlds most gifted designers.In this blog,i would like to give you a very young fashion novice`s observation on all things fashionable.i would like to take on the biggest fashion houses with zeal and break down the looks for your understanding.i will try to forecast trends and make fashion what it is to me, my form of worship and my way of expression.so read on.
